The open bar at the Mitchell's Christmas party last night was in full force as usual. Trust me when I say that these folks KNOW how to throw a party! They live on the intercoastal waterway and their home is perfect for entertaining. The signature drink was a Blueberry Martini but I found it hard to get past the fact that the host misspelled "Eggnog" and wrote "Eggnot" on the bar menu. Yes, they even had a bar menu! After thinking about it, the term "Eggnot" was probably more appropriate.
I am going to spend my weekend baking and maybe I will even wrestle with my own recipe for homemade eggnog. Party mix and eggnog..........ya just can't get much better than that!
