Leg warmers. Not just for your average ballerina. It was a fad that so many of us adopted. I don't ever remember wearing them solo with a dress but I do recall wearing them over a pair of Guess jeans. Olivia Newton John was the envy of every girl but when we put those leg warmers on, she had nothing on us!
Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you were born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, red wine, high school football, beer and acoustic guitars. It's being devoted to front porches, moon pies, sun drop, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way.
No regrets! My SMILE? - always ON. If I get hurt; I see the best in it. My faith is important to me. I am PASSIONATE, unconventional, childlike, FIESTY, BOSSY, complex, CORNY, authentic, smart, funny, LOVING, resilient, secure, a PRANKSTER, and GENUINE friendly.

Oh I remember those days. Nothing compared to the ending of Grease though in those tight leather pants. Where is the follow button?
